Toomey Treasures

                                           Snickerdoodle Cookies 3 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Yellow cake mix 2 eggs 1/4 cup oil 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet 2. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside. 3. Combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended.  Shape dough into 1-inch balls.  Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.  Flatten cookies with the bottom of a glass. 4.  Bake at 375 F for 8 to 9 minutes until set. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheets.  Remove to cooling racks.

This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe right now.  I don't put as many chocolate chips as the recipe calls for.  It would be yummy that way but I don't need it.  I just eyeball the amount that I need and then follow the rest of the recipe. Best Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter shortening  2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 12 oz chocolate chips 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2.  Cream shortening and sugars together  until well blended 3.  Add eggs and vanilla and mix well 4. In a separate bowl combine flour baking soda and salt 5.  Mix with a spoon and then add the shortening mixture  and mix until well blended. 6.  Add in the chocolate chip and mix. 7.  Place about a tablespoon of cookie dough on the cookie sheet. 8. Bake for over 7-9 minutes 9. Cool on a wire rack.
